Since 1994, Laguna Phuket has held this event within its complex to raise funds for the sea turtle conservation programs run by the Royal Thai Navy and Phuket Marine Biological Centre.

Apart from the releasing of sea turtles, there will also be many other fun activities, such as a sea turtle conservation exhibition, a turtle sand sculpture competion, T-shirt painting, bead-bracelet creating, and games booths.
